Delete your PapaFix account

This page explains how to request deletion of your account and personal data from PapaFix (the customer app) and PapaFix Technician, as those apps appear on our Google Play store listing. The request is free, and you do not need to be signed in to make it.

How to request deletion

Email support@papafixph.com with the subject line Account Deletion Request.
Include three things in the message: the email address registered to your PapaFix account, your registered mobile number, and which app you use — PapaFix (Customer) or PapaFix Technician.
Reply to our confirmation email. For your protection we send a confirmation message to your registered email address to verify the request really came from you. Your account will not be deleted until you confirm.
We complete the deletion and confirm by email.

How long it takes

We acknowledge requests within 5 business days, and complete verified deletions within 30 days of your confirmation.

What is deleted

Once your request is verified, we permanently delete:

Your name, email address, and mobile number.
Your password credentials and login access.
Your profile photograph.
Your saved service addresses and their geographic coordinates.
Your device push notification tokens, so the apps can no longer reach your phone.
Your location history.
For technicians: your registered base location, availability schedule, and service categories and preferences.

What is retained, and why

Some records must be kept even after your account is deleted. None of it is used to market to you or to rebuild your profile:

Where the law permits, personal identifiers are removed from retained records so they can no longer be linked to you.

Finish or settle open jobs first. If you have a booking in progress, an unpaid balance, or an open dispute, we will tell you and hold the deletion until that job is closed. Everything else in your request still goes ahead as described above.

Deleting only some of your data

You do not have to delete everything. Email the same address describing what you would like removed — a saved address, your profile photo — and we will do that without closing your account. Some information is required for the apps to function and cannot be removed while your account remains active.

Cancelling a deletion request

You may cancel by replying to our confirmation email before the deletion is carried out. Once deletion is complete it cannot be reversed — your account and data cannot be recovered, and you would need to register again as a new user. Technicians lose their rating and job history.

Your rights

Under the Philippine Data Privacy Act of 2012 (Republic Act No. 10173), you have the right to access, correct, object to the processing of, and request the erasure or blocking of your personal information, and to lodge a complaint with the National Privacy Commission. Note for the PapaFix team — delete this box before submitting to Play. Aligned with the developer's spec. Three things still need an owner before this URL goes into the Play Console.

support@papafixph.com does not exist yet. Every deletion request on this page goes to that address. Create the mailbox, send it a test email, and confirm it arrives — until then this page points users at a bounce.
Legal business name and registered address must replace "PapaFix · Tanauan, Batangas" and match the Play Console developer account.
Ten years matches the Privacy Policy on purpose — keep them in sync. It is the BIR preservation ceiling, chosen so you cannot under-retain, but it is longer than some record types need. If the accountant comes back with something shorter, change it in both documents or the mismatch is the kind of thing reviewers notice.

Also unresolved: the privacy policy previously said technicians' government ID and proof of trade are collected during in-person screening. Those are not in the app database, so if you still hold them, confirm where they live and who deletes them — then list them above. Operational gap, not a web task: deleting a Supabase auth user cascades to profiles, but storage objects do not delete themselves. A real deletion must also clear the user's files from avatars, job-photos, and payment-proofs. Someone needs to own that runbook — promising deletion publicly without a working process is live compliance exposure.
